BA Double Miles Promotion

Between 15 July and 31 August 2010, customers who purchase foreign currency at any participating Travelex retail store, or from www.batravelmoney.com (the “BA Travel Money Website”), and hold a British Airways (“BA”) Executive Club card account, will be offered double BA Miles on purchases of £225 in accordance with the following terms and conditions.

BA Double Miles Promotion Terms & Conditions

  1. This promotion is only available on foreign currency transactions made in the following circumstances:
    1. Foreign currency orders placed on the BA Travel Money Website by the customer for collection collected from a participating UK Travelex retail store between 15 July and 31 August 2010 inclusive; and
    2. Walk up transactions by customers purchasing foreign currency at a participating UK Travelex retail store between 15 July and 31 August 2010 inclusive.
  2. A BA Executive Club card or number must be entered on the BA Travel Money Website or presented at the point of sale or collection for BA Miles to be awarded.
  3. A BA Executive Club card holder must spend a minimum of £225 in order to qualify for the Double Miles promotion:
    1. 1 BA Mile will be awarded per £1 spent on purchases of £225 or over (the “Standard BA Miles”); and
    2. 1 bonus BA Mile will be awarded per £1 spent on purchases of £225 or over (the “Double BA Miles”).
  4. Subject to paragraph 5 below, Standard BA Miles on a transaction will be credited to the customer’s BA Executive Club card account 31 days after the order has been paid for and collected. Double BA Miles on the transaction will be credited to the customer two months after their order has been paid for and collected.
  5. If a customer opts to purchase Buy Back Plus on their foreign currency transaction, the Standard BA Miles awarded on a transaction will be credited to the customer once the 31 day Buy Back Plus period has expired. Double BA Miles awarded on a transaction will be credited to the customer a month after the original BA Miles have been awarded. The amount of BA Miles to be credited to the customer will be calculated on the basis of the actual amount spent by the customer with Travelex (i.e. any foreign currency amount returned to Travelex under the Buy Back Plus product will not qualify for BA Miles).
  6. No cash or other alternative to the Double BA Miles shall be offered to the customer.
  7. This promotion valid on cash foreign exchange transactions only - does not apply to Sterling travellers cheque transactions or the purchase of Travelex’s Cash Passports.
  8. This promotion is not availability in conjunction with any other Travelex offers or promotions.
  9. Travelex reserves the right to withdraw this promotion or amend these terms and conditions without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to customers for doing so. Any changes will take effect when posted on the BA Travel Money Website.

  11. This promotion shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
