Why take Buy Back Plus?

If you are returning from your journey within 31 days of your original purchase, Travelex will buy back your foreign currency bank notes and Travellers Cheques commission free at the original exchange rate you bought them from us. Secure the value of your currency for your own peace of mind for only £3.99 per currency.

Buy Back Plus Terms & Conditions for Online Ordering

1. Buy Back Plus is available to Travelex customers transacting in the UK only.
2. Buy Back Plus transactions will only be given in respect of foreign currency bank notes (not coins) or Travellers Cheques. Buy Back Plus is not available in respect of Cash Passports.
3. If you select Buy Back Plus, a fee for Buy Back Plus will be applied to each item in your order (that is, to foreign currency bank notes and/or Travellers Cheques, with the exclusion of Cash Passports). Should you decide not to purchase Buy Back Plus for your entire order, please divide your purchase into two separate transactions – one for which you require Buy Back Plus and one for which you do not require Buy Back Plus.
4. If your transaction is eligible for frequent flyer points or loyalty card points, these points will be awarded on the net value of your order (i.e. the total Sterling value of the original transaction less the total Sterling value of the Buy Back Plus transaction). Points will not be awarded on any postage, admin, Buy Back Plus or credit card fees. All points will be processed after the 31 day Buy Back Plus time limit has expired.

   e.g. You purchase £90 worth of Euros for store pick-up. You decide to take out Buy Back Plus for £3.99. There is a £1.99 admin fee for your order. After your holiday you have £50 worth of Euros remaining. You decide to return the remaining £50 worth of Euros on the Buy Back Plus offer. Points will be awarded on the £40 net value of your Travel Money order.

5. Buy Back Plus transactions must be completed within 31 days of the original transaction.
6. Only one Buy Back Plus transaction can be completed in relation to each original transaction.
7. Buy Back Plus is non transferable and conditional on presentation of the original purchase receipt and a valid passport when returning foreign currency bank notes or Travellers Cheques.
8. Travelex reserves the right to change the terms of or withdraw Buy Back Plus at any time and with immediate effect, without liability to you. If we revise these terms, we will post the revised version on our website (www.travelex.co.uk). By placing any order for Buy Back Plus after we have changed these terms, you will be accepting the changes.
9. Please note that Buy Back Plus is not available with our home delivery service.
