"I started with Travelex in 2006 as a Sales Manager at Heathrow Terminal 4. I chose Travelex as I knew the brand and working in the one of the world’s biggest airports appealed to me. The training I received was fantastic. As I hadn’t worked in Foreign Exchange my training started from scratch. The training and support never stops, there is always something new to learn. I spent fourteen months at Terminal 4, working in one of Travelex’s busiest branches. In January 2008 I was offered the chance to be involved in the set up of Terminal 5. An opportunity that could not be passed by and one I will remember forever. In May 2008 I moved to Terminal 3 where I manage a team of nine consultants. I also work closely with the Location Manager and will hopefully progress to his level one day. Travelex are committed to training and progressing all their employees. Many of the Sales Managers I work with started their careers with Travelex as Sales Consultants. Job opportunities are always advertised internally and there is always someone to help with applications. Working for Travelex, every day is different and it keeps you on your toes. A bonus point for me is that I have not had to change companies or job roles to move around and find more challenges. As the company is so vast there are always other locations and roles to transfer to."
