Travelex is committed to offering you the best possible overall price in the UK on your travel money purchase. We will not be undersold online. If you find a better price offered by another foreign currency retailer (whether or not online), please contact us and we will refund the difference between the price paid by you and the more competitive price.


Travelex Online Price Promise Terms and Conditions

  1. Our commitment applies to prices offered by Travelex online (over the internet) and only applies to the currencies listed on our online ordering service on the Business Day you bought foreign currency from us. This commitment is subject to you complying with Travelex's usual terms and conditions for the purchase of foreign currency and / or travellers cheques and is not available in conjunction with any other offer.

  2. The prices compared will be the total prices (including delivery fees and commission) offered by Travelex online and the other foreign currency retailer on the same "Business Day" that you bought foreign currency from us. A "Business Day" is deemed to run for 24 hours from 10 a.m. until 9.59 a.m. inclusive. The prices compared must be prices offered to the general public and not only available to staff, club members or other selected groups or individuals.

  3. The prices compared will not include any offers to buy-back unspent foreign currency.

  4. Our commitment is for holiday / business travel money only and not for speculative, investment or any other purposes. Accordingly this commitment only applies to orders of up to £2,500 in any Business Day or a maximum refund per person over the life of the commitment of £50, whichever is the lower.

  5. The commitment relates to a bona fide price offered by another foreign currency retailer who offers the competitive price in the ordinary course of business of offering foreign exchange to holiday/business travellers in the UK.

  6. We must be able to verify the prices you have been offered to our reasonable satisfaction. If the alternative quote you have found is not on the internet email us at: customerservices@travelex.com on the same Business Day that you obtained the quote and made your purchase from us or telephone us on 08702 405 405. You will need to tell us the total price you obtained from Travelex, the name and address of the alternative foreign currency retailer, the total price offered to you by that retailer and the time and date you obtained the Travelex and the alternative quote. To speak to a Travelex representative in person please call during office hours which are from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. If the alternative quote that you have found is on the internet you can also email or telephone as above or you can write to us at Travelex Price Match, Customer Services Department, Unit 5, Maple Grove Business Centre, Lawrence Rd, Hounslow, TW4 6DR, enclosing a print out of your Travelex purchase confirmation, a print out of the competitive quote, exact website address you obtained the quote from and confirmation of the times and dates you obtained the Travelex and the alternative quotes. Postal entries must be received by us within 14 Business Days after purchase.

  7. We will also need your name, address and telephone number. We will only use this information to provide you with your refund or to discuss your refund request with you. We will destroy this information within 6 months. Travelex UK Limited will not share your personal information with third parties outside the Travelex Group of companies.   8. This commitment will not apply if you have exercised your right to cancel your order. If you do not collect your order, your refund on non-collection will be reduced by the amount of any refund already given in connection with this commitment. Travelex's usual terms for cancellation and non-collection continue to apply.

  9. We monitor the total prices for travel money purchases for at least six of our competitors on a daily basis, and aim to be the cheapest of such travel money providers in the market for all relevant travel money currencies.

  10. Currently, our online price promise commitment applies to Travelex customers in the UK only.

  11. Travelex may, at any time, withdraw this commitment in respect of purchases which have not already been made.
