Brits pocket extra ahead of half term

With the Pound up against the majority of the major currencies compared to this time last year, it’s good news for British families planning their half-term holidays.
David Swann from Travelex comments: “The Pound’s value has sunk slightly from its inflated position a few months ago but British holidaymakers will still get more from their holiday budgets compared to this time last year. | Australia | Pound is up 10% against Australian Dollar, meaning Brits gain an extra $77 (£43) on every £500 exchanged. |
| Eurozone | Pound is up 7% against the Euro, meaning an extra €39 (£32) on every £500 exchanged. |
