Travelex reveals the countries with the cheapest beer
It is no secret that Brits love nothing more than a cold beer – whether it is at home or abroad, and new research commissioned by Travelex has revealed the cheapest destinations in the world for Brits to enjoy a cold one.
A market leading independent foreign exchange business, Travelex has revealed this year’s cheapest destinations to buy a beer* for travelling Brits on a budget. The results are based on the average cost of a beer[1] in each country to show where British travellers can get the most beer for their pound.
So, which country has topped the Travelex Index for the world’s cheapest beer?

To help travellers budget better, Travelex has launched a Spending Calculator tool where users can fill in details about where they want to travel, how many people are going and the activities they want to pursue whilst on holiday. The Travelex Spending Calculator will then reveal a suggested budget for the trip based upon real time cost of living.
