Customers who purchase foreign currency at any participating Travelex retail store, or from www.batravelmoney.com (the “BA Travel Money Website”), and hold an Avios membership, will be offered Avios points in accordance with the following terms and conditions.
- An Avios member will be awarded the following Avios points:
- 1 Avios point will be awarded per £2 spent on purchases of £0- £299.99
- 1 Avios point will be awarded per £1 spent on purchases of £300 or more up to a maximum of £2500
- Avios points are only available on foreign currency transactions made in the following circumstances:
- Foreign currency orders placed on the BA Travel Money Website by the customer for collection from a participating UK Travelex retail store; and
- Walk up transactions by customers purchasing foreign currency at a participating UK Travelex retail store.
- An Avios membership number must be entered on the Avios Travel Money Website or Avios membership card presented at the point of sale or collection for Avios points to be awarded.
- Subject to paragraph 5 below, Avios points earned on a transaction will be processed 31 days after the order has been paid for and collected and will then awarded to the customer’s Avios account. Avios points will be calculated on the basis of the actual amount spent by the customer with Travelex (i.e. any foreign currency amount returned to Travelex under the Buy Back Plus product will not qualify for Avios points)
- No cash or other alternative to the Avios points shall be offered to the customer.
- This promotion is valid on cash foreign exchange transactions only - does not apply to Sterling travellers cheque transactions or Sterling Cash Passports, Buy Back Plus (purchase or redemption) phone cards, insurance and money transfer transactions.
- This promotion is not available in conjunction with any other Travelex offers or promotions.
- Travelex reserves the right to withdraw this promotion or amend these terms and conditions without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without any liability to customers for doing so. Any changes will take effect when posted on the BA Travel Money Website.
- Please note that for customers placing orders on the BA Travel Money website this promotion is also subject to the BA Travel Money Terms & Conditions which can be found at: www.travelex.co.uk/uk/personal/terms.aspx.
- This promotion shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
