  • Can I purchase a card for someone under the age of 18?

    Unfortunately not. It is also not possible to receive secondary cards so you are unable to allow another person to carry another card linking to the same account.

  • When will I receive my Cash Passport PIN number?

    Your PIN number is given to you along with the card when collecting your order. If you have selected home delivery, the PIN will be sent with your inactive Cash Passport card and normally arrives within 3 to 5 business days.

  • How do I register for “My Account”?

    Simply click here any we'll take you to My Account where you can register your card.

  • How do I activate my card?

    If you have ordered a Travelex Multi-currency Cash Passport for home delivery, please call the Card Services activation line on 0800 260 0355 to activate your card.

    If you purchased/collected your Travelex Multi-currency Cash Passport card in one of our Travelex stores, then it is activated at the time of collection.

  • How do I Reload my card?

    You can reload your Cash Passport using a number of services.

    1. Reload online on Travelex.co.uk 
    2. Return to any Travelex store in the UK and reload in-store
    3. Call Card Services on 0800 260 0355 (which is free phone) when calling from the UK
    4. Transfer money via bank transfer with internet or telephone banking. For more details please select below:

    Please note:

    A 2% commission will be charged for reloading your GBP on to your Multi-currency Cash Passport or single currency GBP Cash Passport online, by telephone or via internet/telephone banking. Commissions for reloading your Cash Passport in branch may vary per selling location.

    The Travelex Globe Cash Passport is NOT subject to a 2% reload commission charge.

  • How long will it take for funds to appear on my card after I have reloaded?

  • How can I contact card services?

  • Are there any countries or geographical regions the Travelex Multi-currency Cash Passport won’t work in?

    Yes, it is currently not possible to use your Travelex Multi-currency Cash Passport in a few countries and geographical regions.

    If you attempt to withdraw cash from a cash machine or use your Card at merchants in any of these countries or geographical regions, your request will be declined.

    The countries and geographical regions currently affected are:

    Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and Crimea.

  1. When loading/reloading to your GB£ Currency wallet, a charge of 2% of the (re)load value applies. A GB£3 minimum charge may apply – please check with the store.

  2. If the currency of your transaction does not match any of the Currencies on your Card, or there are insufficient funds on your Card in a Currency to cover the whole transaction, the (remainder of the) transaction amount will be exchanged to another Currency (-ies) on the Card in the order of priority, at an exchange rate determined by MasterCard® on the day the transaction is processed, increased by 5.75% (the foreign exchange fee).

  3. If the Currency of your transaction matches one of the Currencies on the Card and there are sufficient funds in that Currency to cover the whole transaction, the ATM fee for that Currency will be applied. If the Currency of your transaction does not match one of the Currencies on the Card or there are insufficient funds in the relevant Currency to cover the whole transaction, then the GBP ATM fee will be applied and will be converted into the last Currency being used to fund the transaction at a foreign exchange rate determined by MasterCard on the day the transaction is processed increased by 5.75% (the foreign exchange fee).

  4. The amount that can be loaded/reloaded will vary depending on which channel you choose, i.e. online, in store, telephone or internet banking. Check www.cashpassport.com/travelex for more information.

     + If, following the debit of any monthly inactivity fee, the Card Fund balance is less than the fee, we will waive the difference.

Online reload limits (across all Currencies on the Card)

For example, if you reload GB£2,000 onto your Card in one day, you may then only load a further GB£2,000 within 7 days. Please note: the online reload limits listed above are subject to the total Card Fund balance already on your Card. Your total Card Fund balance at any one time (including all Currencies) may not exceed GB£5,000.
